Hi i Have a Toshiba 50H82 all the colors is good but the picture is really blur and shake, does someone knows of to fix it, im not shure if its call the tuner of the tv....

If the video is shaking, zig zag looking, etc your hypermodule has failed. This is common on your model. Some peeople call it hyper board, hyper module, etc..all the same.

You can get a repair kit for this from www.TvRepairKits.com

My Toshiba 50H82 television takes about 30 minutes to clear up and during that process, it shakes. It becomes clear but still has wavy lines at the top of the screen which is about 6 inches.

Projection TV sets have two very common problems listed below.

Problem #1) Convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

Hi I have a toshiba 50h82 tv that is 7 years old with a convergence problem with the red and green lines that is going to cost $400 to fix but now that I am thinking about it before the convergence problem...

You are describing 2 different problems. The convergence problem can be fixed by either resoldering the convergence ICs or replacing them. These ICs cost about $25 each and there are 2. I suspect that the $4oo is for replacing the convergence board. This should not be necessary as the board can be fixed. Also, the brightness problem can be dirty CRTs, dirty mirror or faulty coolant fluid on the CRTs. If the picture was good prior to the convergence problem, the set is probably worth the repair if you can get the board fixed. While the board is being repaired, the service shop should be able to tell whether or not the brightness can be adjusted.

Toshiba 65HDx82 video problems

I had a similar problem with a similar model by Panasonic. Unfortunately you will need a certified tech. to pick it up and repair it at there shop. It cost me around $400 bucks and when I received the TV back the remote no longer worked and the repair shop did not man up to the fact that they where liable. They just said they would order another signal reciever for the TV and never did. So, good luck. It is reparable just be careful who you deal with.

It will cost about $300 to fix. The Hyperboard has to be replaced. I had it repaired over 2 years ago and it works great.

Samsung HCM5525W TV red blue outlines on images

The Samsung has bad convergence IC's most likly. This should be repair ONLY by a trained technician as a TV set is not a place to experiment or tinker with because of the extremly high voltage inside. This repair should cost you in the range of 250 to 400 bucks . Good Luck
