Turning on when plugged in lcd screen has 3 dashes with no availability to set the time or brew coffee unplugging coffemaker doesn't fix the problem

I have had this happen too. You need to unplug the unit so that it resets itself. After you re-plug it in you need to set the time. If you just reset it without setting the time it will happen again. This has happened to me a few times. Good luck!
