Lines and broken digitized images on the viewing screen

Our AKAI LCT 42Z6TM is 2 years old and the images are steadily deteriorating. Matrix dots are showing up, wavy lines and broken images are continual.

Thanks for trying but I shouldn't have to replace the whole board. I just replaced 3 caps on the powerboard and it turns on now so is there nothing specific that needs replaced on the main input digital board, and where is this board located? I've only got 2 sometimes distinct wavy lines on the left side, the first one near the bottom and the next from top to bottom.

Listen folks, these tv.s do not operate as the old tv. The tv breaks down, you simply change the board you know that has the problem only. You can solve the problem yourself if you want, but you have to know how to diagnose a problem in the new tv. First, you have a power supply board, main digital board, inverter board, and converter board. In your case you need to change the main input digital board. You can e-mail me at [email protected]

The display settings on your computer need to be turned down. Set it to 800x600 and move up from there, if the resolution is too high - the TV won't display it.

From what you said - it sounds more like a sensor problem in the camera.
If the screen looks OK while sizing up a picture , then 'click' Image is stored on sensor which is read as one LARGE matrix of dots and stored into memory.
If the white lines start at this point - ie. viewing the picture while in camera and then after download.
Then, the problem started at the sensor.
I just did a (www.goggle.co.uk) and did a search for problems - and NONE apart from Wi-Fi connections to Windows7 -- all reviews were great.
I would connect Nikon to see what they recommend

Akai LCT 328STA,Comes on Akai screen appears then goes off.

Akai LCT 3285TA (notice the "FIVE") uses the MLT169A Power supply. This is available from shopjimmy.com for about $100.

Vertical lines obscuring image

The matrix is dead. Probably because of an intensive light got into the lense while the camera was in night mode. It's dead. Nothing can be done.

The only solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.

Problem with LCD

Indeed offered solution is most likely correct. However I can suggest you to ensure if dots/lines appear even before windows screen comes. If yes thats the conclusion that your LCD Module has dead pixels or internal connectors has connectivity issue. Consult a local Hands on technician. LCD module might be costly you can always use an external monitor with your laptop.

Hoizontal lines in images

The problem is faulty CCD sensor ( this device converts light into image ) so faulty sensor means either poor quality pics or no pics at all. Have sensor replaced and camera will work fine.
