Lexmark 2300 my printeer uses an "all-in-one" ink cartrige. iremoved one time and re-installed it, now my lap top dosen't recognise that there is a cartrige in it. what can i do? thanks.

Did you run the lexmark cartridge replacement programme to say that the cartridge is not a new one?. this should be in your programme list when you installed the printer driver.

Lexmark pro 705 wont recognize cyan ink

Make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges. If you are, try updating the firmware of your printer. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.

Reseat the printead again and the cartridges then reboot the printer. If it doesn't help, try replacing the cartridge.

Poor print quality

Make sure you are using genuine Lexmark cartridges. Lexmark products work best with original supplies. Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured, or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.
Check your cartridge ink levels. From the printer operator panel, go to Maintenance > View Ink Levels. Replace the cartridge that has low ink level. If your ink levels are still substantial for printing and you are using genuine Lexmark supplies, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for further assistance.

Ink cartridge installed backwards

use a non magnetized screwdriver and take the top cover off then unscrew the screws holding the guide bar in and gently pull the ink cartrige out you may reuse the cartrige but not recommended.

Hi i have a lexmark x5650 printer, i have just refilled the cartriges and it wont recognise them keeps telling me to replace them, any ideas any one ? neil.

I had same problem. I unplugged the unit, took a pink pencil lead and lightly cleaned the contacts, put the ink back in the plugged unit back in and it worked.

My Lexmark x2350 won't recognize the new ink cartridge!

Hi,Ive had this problem a few times with the 2300 series theres no easy answer to it if your getting an unsupported cartridge message or cartridge not recognised you either have an empty or a faulty cartridge,or a damaged contact on the printers ribbon where the cartridge mates to the printer.Bill.

Installing ink

Lift up the scanner. There is an indent in the middle of the scan table. You'll see a post on the right moving up with the top of the scanner. Move it to the side to keep the top up. Move the bottom blue out toward you and then lift the top purple to remove the cartridge and replace it. Then reverse and close it all up.

No printing

If you brought new Lexmark cartridges please change it as it comes with one year warranty but before try to perform a self test, (i.e make a copy) if it works then try printing , if get the error then change the cart.........................
