Cannot play with my chdvd-300

When I insert a DVD into the player it starts reading the disc and after quite some time it displays a question mark (?) in the samw area where it displays Reading. the LED indicator near the door starts changing colours from green to red and red to green. Can anyone p;lease help me in this matter. Most disgusted with this player.

Depending on the date of manufacutre some of this model used different parts then others and had this problem if you email me I can give you some inforamtion on a possible solution from netfirms. Some of the models had poor quality power supplies and software problems, please send me information on the software version and date of manuifacture and rather or not your unit has an AC cord that is removable without taking the cabinet part for as I will need thius information to be of further potential assistance. Cyberhome chdvd 415 does not read dvd says no disc

That might be a problem with your len which it is very popular today, try cleaning you len with a lens cleaner cd.

DVD powers up, reads disc, stops, then question mark shows in top right cornor.

The way i fix this, and mine does it quite often, is to either unplug it from the wall outlet and let it stand or a minute or two, or with the unit off, open the tray and close it, and it will recognise the disc then.

My dvd 300 won't play dvd movies, when you put the dvd in it states reading disc for a short while. then a ? mark appears. it will play discs that we have recored from blanks.

dvd player has lost program. All dvd's come up bad disc.

DVD stopped playing all DVDs

Reset you player by doing the following:
With the player on, hooked properly to your television, and on the correct station:
Open the tray
Close the tray (with no DVD inserted)
Hold the stop button down for a full 5 seconds
The CyberHome screen should appear. You should be able to play your dvd's now.

After loading every disc displayes "wrong disc'

are they bootleg dvd's? if not try getting a lense cleaner because wrong disc means it's reading your dvd's as .mov files which only play on quicktime in a computer. if it reads your cleaner as wrong disk too then get yourself a refund cuz it has a motherboard malfunction.
