The IBM Netvista should have options to change the language settings built in if you read the manual but generally, if you follow these instructions it usually works.
Go to the BIOS utility and change the language:
To run the Setup Utility program, use the following procedure.
1. Shut down the computer and wait for all lights go off. 2. Start the computer. 3. When the Setup Utility prompt appears on the screen during start-up, press F1. A Setup Utility menu will appear. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. 5. When finished, select System Summary to verify that any configuration changes have been accepted.
You are going to have to flash it again the BIOS in your language. Go to the support and downloads section also check and make sure there is not a setting for languages in the BIOS hard to do this if you cannot read it that is just plain a hassle I can relate with you on this one for sure. You can go in here to get the flash software download. make sure it is the right model. Click Here
u will have to do it by looking the icons...
open controol panell

then open regional and language option
it will have a image of globe or earth like image

You don't have to update your BIOS just to have it changed into English... It's all there, your problem is how to get into that change language area... Check your system manual I am sure you'll find what you need...
Hi,
In Windows XP Pro: Start, Control Panel, Regional and Language, Tabs > Regional Options, Languages and Advanced.
Vista should be that far off. Start, Control Panel, "Clock, Language, and Region", Regional and Language Options Tab > Keyboards and Languages, Display language, English, OK, Reboot
Hope this be of some help. Good luck.
ALL OF THESE ARE DONE BUT I CANT MAKE CHANGES
