When i turn on my sansa its said sandisk , then raspody sansa then it shut down by itsself , the turn on by its self and its repeats over and over again.

Reset All
NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS
TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. NORMAL USERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED
TO PERFORM THIS OPERATION!
If your device freezes up press the Menu button and hold for 15 seconds.
This is like a power down of the device. Once you perform the reset, the adjustments you made during last operation
will be gone.....IF that doesn't work try to recover...download the update software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer Star the update software if it doesn't start automatic goto /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually... follow instructions on the updater and the sansa hope this works.... My mp3 frozen on the welcome screen and restart and freeze again

First reset the Sansa e260. The way you do this is you hold down the power (menu) button for 15-25 seconds. This usually solves it.

Good Luck,

SANSA E200 NOT SHOWING THE MENU SCREEN

Try to format the SANSA E200.

You can do this by simply holding down the Power/Menu button for about 15 seconds. After the reset, any changes you have made to the e200 during its last use will be lost.

PLEASE RESET USING THE RESET PIN PRESENT IN THE SIDE.
AND FORMAT THE PLAYER . if this dosen't work your player is faulty

Reset

Format your Sansa through Windows Media Player (WMP). To do, connect Sansa, open WMP, and click the SYNC tab. On the newer version of WMP (and I think the older versions too), there is a little drop menu arrow right below SYNC tab. Click it and you will see your MP3 player on drop menu. Bring pointy thing to it WITHOUT clicking and another sub menu will pop up with option to format. Formatting the player will lose all your data but should reset it.

Plzzz help=i formatted by accident now it wont...

i guess that you have to reformat it into FAT32 file system using the disk manager in windows (if you're using windows). select my computer using the right key of your mouse, select MANAGEMENT. then select the sub-menu DISK MANAGER. you'll see two logically connected partitions (Sansa_e250 & another partition that is the system partition). try formating the Sansa_e250 partition into FAT32 insted of the default FAT file system!! that helped me after a bug (sansa didn't let me delete songs from is root/music) hope that helps.. p.s. that actually worked for Sansa_c240 p.s.2 if you're a linux user try fdisk (login as root)
