ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

"System error" always needs to be sent into repairs. Give them a call and see what they can do for you. 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1.

I got new pc but cant find my old disc to load data to accept and run my pics to pc , is there a way to download it its for my Ex-S600

Typically your computer should simply detect the camera as an external drive (when you plug it in) on which you'll find the pictures when you browse it. In certain situations, you may need to update the camera's firmware. See links that follow.
For Windows: https://secure.casio.co.jp/qv/download/en/common/download.php/EX-S600_102.exe For Mac: https://secure.casio.co.jp/qv/download/en/common/download.php/EX-S600_102.sit or https://secure.casio.co.jp/qv/download/en/common/download.php/EX-S600_102.zip

Can I download photographs from a QV- 770 into my Mac computer running OSX operating system?

Yes, you can download photos from your QV-770 into your computer. The first thing to do is install the driver of your digital camera into the computer. Once installed connect the digital camera to the computer using the usb cord that goes along with the camera. Upon connection a window will open and will show the picture that are saved in the camera. Press ctrl key and click all the pictures that you want to transfer to your computer. If you want to select all just press ctrl A. Right click and in the drop down command select send to and choose my documents to save the pictures in your computers hard drive. If you have other concerns in regards to this topic just feel free to make comments. Thank you hope this help.

Xp recognises my Casio QV-4000 as a removable disk, but the disk is 'empty' while I really have foto's on it. Any Idea?

Should try to transfer pictures to the computer through cable with card in camera. Make sure you have drivers installed from Casio.com for your camera.

My mother owned a casio camera and transfered

After you insert the disc, does it open showing you the files? If so, copy them to a folder you create on your desktop. Once there, you should be able to open them. If not, you could take the disc to Walmart and use a Kodak Picture Kiosk machine to either print them or make a new copy of the cd. The make of the camera has nothing to do with opening the pics on a computer.

Camera is not being recognuzed

Do not connect the camera to the computer. Buy a small card reader and use it instead to transfer pictures to the computer. It will be several times faster if you have a USB 2.2 port. The camera could only transfer at 1.1 speed, which is several times slower anyways. Then use any free photo manipulation program (e.g. Irfanview) to adjust / store the photos in albums, etc.

Your SD memory expansion card may be damaged.
Try the same procedure without the expansion SD card.
Use the Casio QV-R40 10meg memory with same camera settings.

Casio qv-r61

Hi I took my QV-R61 to the Casio Authorised service center. The lines problem has been diagnosed as a defective CCD image sensor and the the cost of replacing this (Rs 7K) is almost the cost of a new camera!! Too bad this camera is now useless!

To tell you the truth.....NO. You can buy a new casio camera for cheaper than fixing your old QV. Alot of times too the QV isn't going to be compatible with XP or VISTA.
