Dc15 fuse The roller brushes on my dc15 stopped working..I checked the obvious and then noticed that the 2 amp fuse was blown on the circuit board . I've replaced it with the same type bought from Maplins but it keeps blowing .. I tested the yellow an blue wires leading from the circuit board to the roller brush head and the are in tact and I can run a current through them ... Any thoughts from anyone .? Your help would be. Appreciated thanks Lee

Hi its Darran at Dyson.

Although strange, I believe we have a solution. It sounds as though the cleaner head hose is blocked. When the machine is running the suction will be pulling against the bloskage causingt he hose to contract and prevent it from swivelling the left. When switched off there is no resistance in the cleaner head hose which is why it moves normally.

You simply need to check and clear the blockage from the cleaner head hose and this should resolve the problem.

Same problem but all fuses etc ok I found that there are two wires that move with the head,orange & white located in the left hand bottom panel(side of vacume). they had broken bought some conectors from maplin & all fine now.

There have been several people who reported loose or burnt wires to be the culprit for the brush bar not working. The DC15 does not use a belt, but a motor that is control by the circuit board.
