You need to find a broken gba sp on ebay and buy a tri-wing screw driver usualy can be found oon ebay or amazon easily disassemble both units and switch the screens, should be a slightly delicate ribbion cable that attaches it to the logic board, then assemble a working gba out of the good parts, thats gonna be the only way to actuall fix it depending, assuming the screen didn't loose it connection to the main board.in that case you won't need to buy parts, other than that you can sell the gba on ebay for parts and put the money towards another gba.

I had the same problem. It was a solder connection in the charger socket. I tried to fix it but made it worse. I ended up having to switch the battery with a charged one from another GameBoy. That's how I was able to keep using it.
