No, it is usually caused by a bad video tape or incorrect broadcasting/recording of the TV show/movie that you are watching. I do not think there is a known solution to this, all I can say to you is "good luck". Sorry!

Sounds like you were having a power failure in the community,, we call it a brown out. just turn it off and unplug it,, I'm not sure if this is what the problem is.. I had this to happen years ago on a magnvox console.. I will check and see what I can find out for your model tv..

This TV has a common problem. I've found dozens of owners with the same complaint. See the following blog for a simple fix for your set. I tried it and it worked and I spent under 2 bucks to fix it myself at home!

replaced the capacitors(electrolytic) in the primary area of ps.visually check for dried up. also replace the starting resistors in primary ps common values are 100k to 820k .hope this help u....
