How to replace kenmore model 158 13400 belt

A great many old kenmore machines were badged White machines. You may find that helpful in searching for belts

Does the machine stitch when you turn the hand wheel? Then the belt between the motor and the rest of the machine needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, I can't find the parts list for the 385.15751090. For a different Kenmore serger model, 385.16642090, the belt is no longer available. I suggest you ask your local sewing machine repair person if they have a source for the belt.

If you go to SewingStyle.com they have parts listed with applicable machine model numbers. I think the belt you want is DP6912 which they have listed for 8.99.

How to remove the handwheel on a 1703 (and maybe others but not sure) To remove the handwheel on an 1703 you need to remove that light colored circle in the center of the handwheel. Take a pin or needle and put it in the tiny hole you'll find along the edge of that circle and lift off. Under it is a screw
to loosen to remove the handwheel.

I bought mine at Walmrt. They are a Singer product and says it will fit most machines. There are 2 belts in the package and the small one is for bobbin winders. I have a Kenmore 158,904 and it fits perfect.
