Question about Maytag Neptune FAV6800AW Top Load Washer
I have disassembled and cleaned both containers. Neither had clogs or excessive buildup (which is prone to the fabric softner). I diassembled the lid and verified that the water inlets were free of debris and have narrowed the problem down to the water jets not activating (there are three water jets on the back of the lid housing). The center jet is for the main water feed. The left and right jets fill the bleach/fabric containers. These left and right jets do not appear to be opening at all and I am guessing that the controller for the jet solenoids is not functioning. Has anybody experienced this and if so, what did it take to resolve?
I have the exact same problem. However the bleach dispenser has ruined colored clothes by dispensing leftover bleach from the previous white wash on colored clothes. i have had many parts replaced to no avail. Maytag has just agreed to buy back the washer for the full purchase price and replace it with a Maytag or Whirlpool product of my choice. I hope I have better kuck this time.

crkim13,
In our case, no water goes in either dispenser. Do you plan on having the washer fixed or are you just going to live with it? Should you get it fixed, I would like to know what the problem was (componemt failure).
I did not mention this in the original post, but I also tried to power cycle the washer too (i.e. unplug from wall for about ten minutes). Of course, it did not help...
