Question about Maytag 24 in. MDB8600AW Jetclean II Built-in Dishwasher
We live in Mexico for six months of the year. Our dishwasher is just a year old and the residue has been getting worse. We will try removing the arm and clean it as suggested. However, I understand there is a product on the market that cleans away some of the hard materials that are in the water. It is called Dishwasher Magic. If you are familiar with the product, would it be possible to list some of the ingredients in order that I may replicate it here? Thank you.
They are called "rinse agents". Another brand is "Jet Dry". These chemicals cause water to be more slippery and sheet off your dishes, rather than stick as droplets. Some websites suggest you can use plain vinegar as an alternative, particularly if you are battling hard water.

The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product to solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water going into your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that leave those spots. It is very affordable and even has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look with this product.
