Garmin 755T BLACKOUT 2009!!!! Solve Basically, me and my wife had to pick up a friend 2 towns over. I jump into my car and input... All of a sudden my GPS 755T is telling me that it is trying to update the firmware. I press ok. it displayed 1% said done and it couldn't find the Satellites. I was like WTH and turned it off and back on. It stated Cannot find Satellites. I was like ok, let me keep it on the charger 12V Cigarrette lighter. I thought it would start working while we drive and my wife was trying to turn it on but the screen went black and now I'm pissed because I just brought this thing. I went to Garmin's web page but there was nothing informative. I guessing something happened when this Firmware was trying to download into my unit. It must have killed something. It is now 10:27pm June 24th and I'm just surfing the net looking for similar experiences. now I know I'm not the only one. GARMIN WHAT HAPPENED????

Check the relays

not positive but look in owner manual for a fuel pump reset button i had this problem at one time and that fixed it it is usualy under the dash area somewhere on the drivers side or in a kick panel (decorative cover on the side firewalls inside the cab)....good luck i hope this helps!

Check that you have power reaching the unit, you may have tripped out on the main distribution board of the house.

u might have a factory immobilser installed and its stuffing up?

My mind goes to battery, starter, or kill switch.
If you can play the radio and the lights are working, but you get nothing when you try to start it (not even a clicking sound), it's not likely the starter, either.
You may have a kill switch engaged. Some Honda cars have a kill switch that disables the engine from starting. (Anti-theft device installed). Check your user Guide to see if there is info there.
Often, there is a button you need to push or some other trigger to release the lockout.
Here is what I would try:
1. Conact the seller, if you can, to inquire.
2. Call AAA. They may know the various options, and did help me when I had trouble.
3. Call a Honda dealer to inquire about options for disabling it.
