I have an Emerson TV Model # EWF2004A, where is the reset button on it or does it not have one

I was watching it last night & for some reason it just went blank, tried everything, but could not find a reset button and was wondering if this model has a place for one.

Most Emerson sets must reset with power OFF. Just unplug the TV from aC mains power wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so. This must make a hard reset to TV. If the problem is with resetting, it will get rectified.

Help...How can I talk to a person ..2 year old Protron 32" LCD went out last night /nothing was touched...no pick or sound..it's like their is no elcetricity going through..no lights on. Could it be the DC adapter? the blue light is not on the adapter(is it to stay on?) It goes on when I first plug it in then goes off.

had same problenm with mine it was a fuse that blew. took repairman 5 minutes to fix charged $136.00

no it is your power supply it may have primary power but if you look closely you will see several puffed up capacitors these blow because of the fet near by let go and is not avail you can get a new supply for about 60 bucks from ramplus.com get the fsp number off the supply ex fsp-194

Emerson ewf2004a tv static lines moving from bottom to top tv screen

do the lines travel through the menu ?(when menu is turned on) if not it's likely a problem with the signal, loose antenna or video input connection. You can also try another input, a DVD for example. If the menu is distorted by the line, then it's probably something inside the TV

Sorry to tell you but without the actual remote you cant switch this television. Lucky this model is covered in many universal remote controls. Controls go for as little as three dollars on ebay.com. But you should be able to also find them in any local department store.

Georgine you should have a button on your EMERSON remote that says input or source.
Press that button and a menu should come up with a list of options
use the arrow keys in the center of the remote to highlight VIDEO
Press enter or the circle button in the very middle of the remote

I need more info about the remote! like Brand and model !
even without code! You should be able to put the remote into a search mode.
Here is some common procedure;
Put the Remote in search mode, while directing it to the turned on TV, push the power button repeatedly when the TV shuts down you should push the OK button immediately!
