Question about Nokia 6230

Keypad Dead Hi My cell phone nokia 6230 keypad is dead.basilcally the jecks used for the pads are destoryed.there are now only some keys which are not been traced out yet.these are 3 6 9 # and up arrow.actually the print on right side is no workin out.Can i have the complete diagram for this purpose.

I think you key pad device damage or may be software problem. So first of all checking device good Nokia engineer. If your mobile keypad then change keypad or used touch mobile then device problem.

Key pad light is not working
Hi

it is better you change the complete keypad because it is not expensive than to repair the keypad.

To change keypad, open the pphone and pull the key pad from the panel and replace with another one.

Hello sir/madam , in my nokia n70 device the left navigation key and the buttons 1 and 3 does not work . up and down navigation keys are also not working . kindly tell me the right solution
Hi Friend!
The best advice I can give is that you bring your phone to a technician for check up. You might not want to tinker with your device on your own and end up with a dead unit altogether but if you wanna give it a try, the problem somestimes is a dirty or corroded keypad. Remove the membrane attached to the keypad and use a cleaning solution such as a paint thinner to clean the keypad surface. Use a piece of cotton with the solution. Another thing you should also check is the keypad connector. Check if it is properly aligned.

Hi,
Sorry to say this please replace keypad crstal IC,and jumper it will work 100% ....reheat the upper components and the the whole pcb,with care,the keypad ic is same as 6600, 6630, n70, 6680, 6280 LCD IC.

most nokia phones have a setting for your key tones and lights just go into menu phone settings and there should be a setting for lights in there

sounds like the phone got wet or was left inVERY humid enviroment Clean ALL corrosion from the contact points and the back of the phone's logical key pad(where the electronics are) other wise get it replaced....

Keypard problem
this problem comes due to moisture so 1st of all wash the keypad with actone. and dry it. yet it don't work than check the keypad ic.
