Question about Belkin (F5D5231-4) Router
Retain your password and user name if any, go into routers set up browser to find this. Press the reset button on back of unit with a pen tip. Go to your pc's and go into properties of your network cards and in the internet TCP/IP properties ensure obtain IP address automatically is selected. Go back into the routers settings (normally 192.168.2.1 in your web browser.) Make sure DHCP is enabled to automatically assign IP addresses. Type in any password and user name. Also check the cables as an orange light means either no connection or only 10 Mbps instead of the normal 100Mbps. If you still have trouble you may need to clear the DNS settings so go to Start then Run and type:- ipconfig /flushdns then press enter.(note the gap between ipconfig and the /).
