I want to take a picture that is on messenger &; put it on my timeline. I am Ubunto

If right click "save image" didn't work, try this; use prntscrn button on your keyboard to take a screen shot, choose where to save the image then open with Gimp image editor and crop out the part you don't want, save it then upload to your timeline

How to crop photos

Are these photos you have uploaded to your laptop? Can you find the folder they are in?
When you right-click on any one of the images, do you get an Edit option? Or an "Open with" option?
If you are using MS Windows and MS Office, you can Open with Office Picture Manager. That has an "Edit pictures" button at the top, and then a Crop option.
If you are on MS Windows, but don't have Office, trying downloading a very good free editor called Paint.Net. That has Image Crop options as well.

Hi, I have the Nikon Coolpix 3000 and I've recently had some problems. I have only had this camera since December; Several times I have tried to upload pictures and "this file contains no image...

You can try to reformat the sd card. Sometimes cards will contain data that disrupts the reading process.
Also, sometimes if you edit images on the pc, such as rotating them in Window's image viewer, it will rewrite the image as a jpeg that is unrecognized in the camera.
Lastly, check to see if the photos are being saved to the sd card or the camera.

How do I change my profile picture on THIS website

Hi ells1231, First, make sure that you are signed into your FixYa account. Click on "My Profile" on the upper right. Click on the "Edit Profile" link under the default avatar. Click on the "My Expertise" link on the left of the page (not the one in the upper right!) Scroll down to where it says "Upload your Profile Picture". There you can upload an avatar. Files must be 50kb or smaller, and either JPG, GIF, or PNG format. When you are done, click "Save Changes" at the bottom. Saving the pictures to my computer

Try copying it again from your camera to your PC. If you browse it in your camera do you still see the images? If you do see the images, it is just a copy problem...

Lumix pictures blurry

I would suggest that the image stabilizer might not be working right. Could you upload a photo to Flickr or other location where I could look at the EXIF, or list it here. I would like to see what the camera is writing to the image as the settings when the photo was taken.

Does it make a difference when the image stabilizer is on or off?

Trimming

Unfortunately, while this is an excellent camera and can do many things...

Cropping the images before transporting them to your computer is not something that this camera can do. You'll have to transfer the images to your computer and use your choice of software to crop and trim the images.

Sorry. :P
