Question about Frigidaire GLRS237ZA Side by Side Refrigerator
The icemaker no longer makes ice. I checked the water line running into the rear of the refrigerator and it is carrying water in. The water dispenser functions as well. The icemaker is in the on position. Since the cold water dispenser works, why is it that the water to the icemaker seems not to flow? The refrigerator had not been turned off; it just stopped making ice after I had to manually switch from crushed to cubed ice by adjusting the lever behind the ice holder.
There are two solenoids after the water inlet solenoid, one is for the filtered water and the other is for your ice maker... the green hose that runs up the back of your fridge. ice maker solenoid may be burnt out supplying no water to the ice maker or.... it could be the ice maker control board.

Check the water tube. I understand there is a new tube that is longer. My tube freezes up and the ice maker quits. Also the short tube drips water down the back wall and into the evaporator fan. The fan then starts hitting the ice and makes a loud buzzing noise. After that the fan will clog with ice and stop spinning. This stops the flow of cold air from the evaporator and the freezer temp will start climbing until the ice melts. If you hit the refrigerator door switch five time it will force a defrost cycle and sometimes clear the problem. By this time everything in your freezer will be defrosted.

same as above the water goes to the back and through to the water despenser but no ice
Checked all obvious fixes. Turned circuit breaker on and off. Water line works.
