The coby speaker accident

A few months back a friend got me these coby speakers for ipod. And my mp3 player is a phillips. So i put the mp3 player in the speakers like it was a ipod.except once it was cut on it started lighting up.some werid sign was blinking.and ever since then my mp3 player shows what song it is.cuts on normally.but will not play any songs, record or even play radio.just on the mp3 shows 00:00.and the seconds never move

Exact same thing happened to me when I tried plugging my MDD6330 into an ipod car adaptor.

Performing the suggested 'repair' procedure did nothing to resolve the problem.

Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).

Hi,i think you will need to replace the battery ..or the speaker does not work with your iphone.
You can take it back to where you bought it from and request for the speaker that will work with your iphone..

Hello ! I am shopping for mp3 players! I am comparing ipods with generic mp3 players, it seams to have a problem all the docking station on the market is made for ipod only. Is there any adaptor that will...

There is some docking stations or players for the generic MP3 players but most don't even need them. A lot of them do have speakers attached but you can always get generic stations such as the one that IPOD offers or if you want to save some cash, just get some speakers that will attach to the player. There is a lot of products out there so shop around and even check out your major retailers such as Wal Mart

Apple i touch 8 gb speaker not working

maybe u have the 1st gen itouch. the 1st gen itouch doesnt havent speakers. Your friend probably have 2sec gen which has speakers. If u look at each other's itouch carefully, u'll notice a slight difference near the edges. your friend's itouch's edge is probably curved like in the 2sec gen one while urs probably isnt.
