My asus A52F sound is too low

Right click on your speaker icon, click on volume mixer, check the slider, should be right up, also check recording and playback, if not working, you can troubleshoot sound problems, you can try this out.

Few keya are not working

To determine if the keyboard or the keyboard controller is faulty, plug an USB keyboard into the USB port on your laptop. If all the keys are OK on the USB keyboard then the laptop's keyboard is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the USB keyboard also malfunctions then the keyboard controller chip on the motherboard is faulty, then the motherboard needs to be replaced, but this may not be a cost effective solution.
A replacement keyboard for your model laptop maybe available from this WEB site.Keyboard replacement, LCD screens for mobile phones, Ipods and computer equipment. http://www.yallstore.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=1lrjst3ncshlb4c7frn9bev3c3&keyword=keyboards

A52F keyboard problems

Looks like your keyboard has been hijacked. Turn your computer off and boot up in Safe Mode. When you hit the power button to turn the computer on immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Select the Safe Mode option. Once safe mode is up things will look different to you. The icons will be bigger and the screen will be darker, that's normal.

If this started happening to you recently say only a day or two ago then lets try doing a System Restore to a date and time before it started happening. Click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. When System Restore pops up look for an option that will allow you to pick additional restore points than the one you see. You want to pick a date and time that was before your keyboard started acting crazy.
Let it run to completion then try typing again.
Don't worry, System Restore does not destroy your data, documents, music, pictures, videos, (programs (unless you added a program after the restore point you selected)). System Recovery destroys everything and sets your system back to when you first purchased it.

My Asus A52F has the webcam upside down.

Hi

This is a problem in the imaging software rather than the camera itself.

Open the program and look for Tools or Options and then find a Rtation control to rotate the image 180 degrees back to the correct orientation.

Hope this helps.

I press f8 when starting but unable to get into safe mode. I have windows 7 OS on an ASUS A52F.

You have to tap F8 Repeatedly right after the initial splash screen goes away. Then it will come up with a menu for you to choose Safe Mode.

Which notebook to buy?

I'd ask your professors which one they recommend and if they don't have a recommendation ask them what they use or better yet what they would like to use if they could afford it!
good colleges should recommend a compatible laptop that will easily sync with their school system!
