Question about Lexmark P4350 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Memory card problem

I have just bought a Fuji 1gb xD memory card and when I insert it into the card slot in the Lexmark P4350 it gives the message "Memory card problem" and will not read the images on the card. I have checked the card in another card reader, and the Lexmark reads a Fuji 16mb xD card correctly. Any suggestions as to why it won't read the 1gb card? Thanks, Denis

Hi I suspect this is due to the printer being unable to read this size of memory card, as i have the same problem, where as it will read a 128mb card but not gb !

I keep getting the error card not recognized when trying to use an Olympus M+ xd 2gb memory card. How large of a memory card will this camera support?

From what i know and i own a Fuji FinePixA360.According to the Manual 1gb is the highest amount of memory listed. Also you can not put a M+ (high speed) card in the camera will read error.Bascially the Fuji is an older camera and was designed for 1gb and must use the "M" xd picture card (DPC-M1GB) .Thats all the higher memory that was available when the camera was manufactured.I don't know if a 2 gb memory card will work but if you do try one make sure its the older M NOT M+.Hope this helps someone,Gary Malcontent

I lost the cord, got one from a flea market...and nothing

you can plug out your memory XD, and buy memory card reader for supporting XD picture card. Memory card reader can bought in computer shop, and plug it on USB slot.

Card no Initialized

If your new xD card has an "H" or an "M" before the 1gb, it is not compatible with your camera unless a firmware upgrade is performed (go to www.fujifilm.ca and follow the links for support to the firmware upgrade section). If the card doesn't have the H or M, you just need to format the card in the "set-up" menu of the camera.

Blurred subjects

Fuji uses a 16MB xD card with the camera, which won't hold too many 4 Megapixel photos at the highest quality setting. So you should plan on buying a larger card right away. xD cards are currently available as large as 1GB, and I think 128MB is a good starter size for most people. Be warned that xD cards tend to be more expensive than CompactFlash and SD cards.

Memory card won't work

Try this site for a firmware update. You need to get a AC power adapter for it to work though. It is from Fuji and it worked fine for my A120. The older XD cards are of a different format then the newer ones so if your new XD card has an 'M' on it you will need to do the firmware solution.
Good luck

Problem with new XD card

This could possibly be a problem with the card reader ..Just insert a different card and see if it works..If it reads other cards..then i advice that you get new card coz the recovery softwares and stuff r pretty expensive and will be a waste of money..
