Question about Audiovox CDM8910WW
Help! I'm not sure what happened. I woke up one morning and the only lights I had on my phone were the keypad lights. Not even the lights on the front cover are working, except the red charging light. I dont remember getting any water on it and it has always been in a case. I dont really want to replace it becouse of all the numbers that are already stored in it. So, ANY help would be wonderful. Thanks- Robin
Hi Robin I am sure 100% that your LCD Cable has broken. That is the common problem for most Flip cell phones because the LCD cable is connected one side on one end of the flip and the other end to the connector under the board below the keypad. Therefore, several open and close times the flip will cause the cable is broken one day. I has showed it common on most Motorola V-series phones and all other models so your are not an exception. Now, the only solution is purchased the new LCD cable and replace it.. If yo can provide me your phone model, I can send you the link to show you how to disassemble you r phone and how to replace it. I hope my repair list has your phone model. If you can still dial the number and still can receive a call, I can be 100% sure you need to only replace the LCD cable. Email me at [email protected] so I can send you the instruction.
