Louise, E07 means "Motor fault. check motor, tacho and associated wiring, check drum has not jammed" Presuming you can spin the drum by hand, I'd put my money on the carbon brushes in the motor being worn out and needing replacement
Switch off and for Door lock fault or Motor fault . Check both are ok and make sure nothing is jammed or restricting the operation as it is according to which main board is fitted to the machine.
In my lists Indesit's 'F02' stands for 'motor jammed/ tacho problem, check leads' meaning that it is requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(

If you have little to no suction, that sound is happening because you most likely have a clog some were in the vacuum.
smell is probably your motor over working itself do to the clog.
also double check your belts on your brushes that they are moving with the motor. smell and sound could come from the brushes being jammed which would cause the belt to freeze and heat up and could burn the belt and or your motor.
if it is still running though your not in the red yetm so triple check that the machine is cleared off all clogs and jams in the belts and brushes.
hello , from what you described there could be a few things going on ..: 1..one of the rubber rings that balance the drum is either loose or broken .. 2 the bearing from the drive shift is defective .. 3 the counterweight is loose from the screws .. 4 the position on the horizontal plan is not perfectly 5 one of the screws ...is loose somewhere and is vibrating only on high speed spinning .. But usually is either the suspension rubbers or the counterweight being loose
you are correct, the motor is shot. if you like the machine replace the motor. i would get an est. on the machine from your local vac shop and the go price them. in some cases its better just to get another machine.
