Question about Canon PowerShot SD30 / IXUS i Zoom Digital Camera

Accidentally deleted precious photos off memory card

I've got a Canon ixus i zoom, and a SD 256mb memory card. I forgot I hadn't downloaded some new photos and accidentally erased everything on my card except for previous protected images. Is there ANY way of getting back the pictures I deleted?? So upset about this as they were important photos. Thanks.

Deleting won't make the pictures on a digital camera erase permanently. Those deleted pictures are still stored on the memory card of your camera, they're just invisible or inaccessible. You can recover them with photo recovery software. But once the deleted pictures were overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.
I used this one named Tenorshare Photo Recovery for Mac and it worked.Anyway, you can download it and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your files can be recovered.By the way,it will show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your card.Give it a shot!

You definitely need a memory card data recovery freeware:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/03/memory-card-recovery.html
This freeware can deeply scan your camera and restore your deleted photos back as many as possible just in the same way as it successfully retrieves all the inaccessible data of my friend off from his camera.
Download this freeware here:

Note: Next time, you should be more careful about your photos and always back up them well.

Olympus camedia c-3040 zoom how to delete pic

Judging by your explanation, the photos are on your sd digital memory card rather than the internal memory.
Since you are unable to delete just those 15, it sounds like you might have accidentally enabled the "protect" function.

Get out your manual (or download a new one) and read about how to protect/unprotect photos, and also read about how to format your card in camera - something you should do on a VERY regular basis for the health of your memory card.

While you have the book out, read ALL of it - twice! You'll be amazed how much you'll learn.

Format of sd card on canon ixus 60 lost pictures

Try PC Inspector "Smart Recovery" from the following listing. Select "Intensive" mode from the File/Settings menu. The program may need to run all night in this mode. If this doesn't recover the photos, am afraid then that they're permanently gone.
