yes , remove the top cover , this will expose the entire mechanism , you may have to feel around a bit ,but theres definitly a metal lever or tab of some sort to eject the mag manually , probably on the rear of te open unit

the manual is really same with cdx fm-1277. Just look at the 1277 masual it will help you.

ERROR 11 on pioneer cd players is common.

It can be due to a failing laser or dirty lens. It means that the CD was not recognised, either because of the CD scratched, or it could possibly mean the laser is out of alignment.

If the player works fine with other discs - chances are it needs a good cleaning.

If the player wont read any discs - it's time for a service call. Typically - I charge $50USD for clean and alignment.

you can do it yourself (clean it) by disassembling the player, and using a qtip and isopropyl alcohol - however an alignment requires a special alignment tool.

I have just bought a car from my aunt not too long ago. And she has this CD changer with it. I have only got it to work once, and it stopped working for no reasons. My aunt taught me to switch the radio frequency to FM 88.1, and then turn on the CD changer. It worked once, and then the next day it stopped working.

first try to get another display, maybe it's broken (could be the cable cutted), the changer with a motor noise in the moment you plug it, tell me that its ok (95%).
