Suddenly Green focus shift off and cann't be able to autoalign

It sounds like one of the convergence Ic chips is bad---you will need to locate and replace both of them and look for any damaged parts around them; there usually are two pico fuses in this area, one for each IC. The fuses do not look like glass fuses--they usually are green or orange in color and will have the amperage marked on them and on the top of the circuit board.

most likely a bad optical block part price between $450 - 550

replace the two convergence ICs and also check the 3.9 ohm resistors

we have no sound

The tv plays fine my sreen is cracked on my Sony 42inch screen can some one help me.

A lot of times when the convergence ICs blow, there are also problems with resistors on the board (talking from Hitachi experience), or the board itself.

If the other problems, like blown resistors, are not repaired, the ICs will blow again right away. If the ICs are your only problem, then replacing them may work

thr focus block assy.has the screen and focus controls on it it about 3"x3" in size has red wires attached to it and one feeding form the flyback transformer to it.

your screen and focus controls need adjustment to acheive a good grey scale picture the adjustment are not on the crt neck boards.(focus block)

screen adjustment,remove front bottom cove and find the focus block the screens are also on the same block,if your not sure don't try.
