No sound

Please confirm that the volume is turned up and the headphones you're using work by using them on another device. If both those points are confirmed, you may have a faulty headphone jack. Take (or send) the unit for repairs.

Headphone is not working well

Try your Headphones on another Device, if they work there.
If not, you probably should buy some new headphones, or try to get a replacement or new ones if you still have a warranty on them.
If your headphones work fine on the other device you tested, you should send your iPod to repair or try to do it yourself, you can find guides for the repair aswell as the needed tools on iFixit.

Have sony nw-a3000 20GB walkman with sound in right channel only can you help

do you wrap your headphones around the mp3 player?? If you do, you may have damaged the headphone socket. I did it to my Ipod and had to get a new one. The oher problem might be that you've damaged the earphone cable, try putting them into another device e.g. your computer. If they work fine, its your headphone socket. If they dont work, you'll need new headphones

One headphone is not working. no sound is coming.

pull the plgu of your headset partially from the jack play around it until the other headphone produces sound if this happens it mieans that the Audio port your using is either malfunctioning or you can try youy headset with an MP3 player or any audio device that uses a headset to find out if it is the headset that is damaged

NO sound??

Make sure the volume is turned up sufficiently. If it is, then get it exchanged if still in warranty.

Headphone problems

sometimes when overplugging the headphones people tend to loosen what holds it in place i suggest you insert the headphones about halfway and rotate them when and if you hear sound completely insert them but be patient
