Question about Canon PIXMA iP5000 InkJet Photo Printer
Canon iP5000 When pressing PRINT the paper at back of printer twists as it enters printer - it seems to pull too much at bottom right corner and stops printing with a PAPER JAM dialog box. I have tried every maintence procedure from Printer utility app and cleaned printer, held it upside down and shook it, and tried different brands of 80 thickness paper. The printer still works fine as it can do CD covers still. It just keeps twisting paper on entry. My next course of action will be to drop a large rock on it. Cheers Ian BTW printer has worked flawlessly for 18 months with no trouble
Have the same problem I'd love to kick the s**t out of the person who designed this piece of rubbish I'll never buy anything by canon again. Had to refrain from launching the printer out the f**ckin window.

I find that having too much paper in the carrier can cause this problem.
Another tip I use is to fan the paper before putting it into the carrier and make sure the guides are guiding and not holding the paper, i.e. don't get them too wide or too narrow.

canon printer paper seems to go one side when i want to print something please help
A4 paper sheet twists as the paper is 'grabbed' only on right side but not on the left side. So printing envelopes which are fed on the right side of the top feeder tray print okay, but not A4 paper.
