Lcd screen i broke my lcd screen and need to replace. local repair shops are reluctant to repair. i need to purchase a new screen. help please

Yes, you could get the screen replaced, but it is probably just as cheap to buy a new TV. Ask your local TV service repair shop.

To purchase a new LCD screen is too expensive and not cost effective. You are doing the right thing by searching. Unfortunately, these TVs are still new and finding a salvaged one will take time. The demand right now, for a salvaged screen is in much demand. You must be patient, and time will find one. You may may try the "Shop Jimmy" website. Or check out Encompass TV parts. Sometimes they may have a salvaged one...once again demand is high and the search continues. Just continue to be very patient. The screen cost more than the entire TV, better to get a new TV instead. You can try posting an add on Ebay to sell it for parts... Also you can try calling local repair shops in your area see if they may have a used LCD panel for your TV at a reasonable price.

I would agree with the repair shop cheaper to replace than fix... but if your a do it yourself kinda person you can fix this the problem. sounds to me as if the one or more of the LCD wires have broke the following link is to a replacement screen you will need one like this for your repair and allot of patience. there are like 10 micro screws holding the camera together. but the good news is the LCD just plugs in no soldering. so with a new screen $38.88 and a little expertise you can have your camera up and running in no time. but before repairing I would check out best buys web site you can get a new camera with much higher resolution for a few dollars more. hope I have been of some help.. please don't forget to rate and if you need anymore assistance just email me i would be happy to help.....okcfirewall

Unfortunately a new LCD panel are extremly expensive. most of the time it would be more cost effective to just buy a new one. An option to get rid of the cracked one would be to call around to local repair shops and see if they would buy the tv for parts or put it on a craigslist type of site and sell it.

most wireless stores have a repair center. but usually takes time. try looking in your phonr book for wireless phone repair for a speedy fix or check out dr cell phone @ 1-877-349-7297. they have a 1-3 day turn around for repairs
