If none of the buttons will work on your phone either the printed circuit board in the phone is bad or one of the buttons on the phone is partially pressed down. Try removing the clear plastic cover on the front of the phone and see if it will dial out ok then. If it will you should be able to replace the cover and use the phone with no problem.

Check to see that you have dial tone from the phone company by using a standard non cordless phone. if you have dial tone then check the cordless phone and make sure you plug into the correct port and ensure that you have the power plugged into the wall. Also, use the same cord from the standard phone that is connected from the phone to the wall to ensure that your line cord is not bad.
First thing you should verify a dial tone on the fax machine. (use any analog phone)
If you have dial tone, press 9 and then a number
Second is it conected through tel. system? (did it have an internal extension) and there is no dial tone then your analog port may be fried. Call your telephone vendor. He should be able to help you.
You can purchase a manual for about 10 dollars Email your system model number to sales at aaa-avad.com for further instructions
just go to the modem properties and you will see a option there called wait for dail tone if u see tick mark there please remove the tick mark your problem might get solved. if this doenst work then check up ur cable and the modem
some dial connections dont like the filters attached. does the new modem have more then one ethernet connection on it? have u tried it on another connection if u have on in the house? it may just be your settings in the computer. are you using the same computer for both broadband and dial up? if you are then you may need to adjust the settings in your computer, your isp should have done all that for you.
