Mom's Sharp Aquos TV no sound or picture there is a green flashing light where the power light is I heled the volume up and channel down while the TV was unplugged. plugged it back in sound no picture

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

I have a Samsung HLP5663WX/XAC. I have sound but no picture. The lamp light is blinking and I can't turn the power off unless I unplug the tv. Any help would be good.

Hi,

This kind of symptoms indicated that the DMD module is loading down the control bus and stuck to this process. You have to replaced it part no. BP96-00678A. I saw your board at Ebay.com.

Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Blue Light comes on but no picture

Hi, do you still have sound. Can you control your volume. It might be one of your sustainer boards. Please let me know. It could be your SDR boards too.

Volume light blinking, no sound.

Plug in some headphones as they are usually always active and see if you get any sound and volume control of them.
if not the switches may be stuck .
or the output fuses blown.
it gets sticky to work inside one of these without electronics experience and you can do more damage.
The fuses are about all you are allowed to fix.
