It was caused by win10 update (if anyone has the issue now)

The problem could be solve by removing the latest win10 update .

Can confirm that this fixed it for me as well, using an intuos 4 + art pen on Windows 10. Rolled back most recent windows security update and it fixed it. To rollback: go to settings->update & security -> view installed update history -> uninstall updates

Any idea's when or if it'll fix this? Would hate to roll back on updates and stay outdated because of this one issue.

SOURCE: Wacom Tablet overly sensitive

i had the exact same problems with my graphire4 pen.
take a tool to remove the tip of the pen. just blow inside the pen, put the tip back and press it in back but not too hard. works like magic!

SOURCE: Pen keeps drawing when I lift it off tablet

This problem commonly occurs due to a stuck "nib" sensor (the sensor that detects pen pressure).

Take out the "nib" (important, so the sensor isn't damaged further) and whack the pen on your desk (or drop it on the floor from 3 feet up). It re-seats the "nib" sensor when it's stuck. If this doesn't work after multiple attempts, then the sensor may be too damaged.

SOURCE: Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet-Mac. Yellow box pops up under pen cursor.

Your tablet is set under the handwriting setting. Go to system preferences and select ink under hardware. Then turn off handwriting recognition.

SOURCE: my digital pen for my pen tablet(bamboo/wacom)

Try hitting the head of your pen into the palm of your hand 5 times and do the same with the eraser. Something about the humidity making the pressure thing in the pen stick idk. I had the same problem and this worked for me.

SOURCE: my wacom pen is selecting everything i scroll it over.

Try hitting the pen head into your hand 5 times. Do the same with the eraser ( do it pretty hard but not too hard. I hurt my hand with the pen tip a LITTLE so you can gauge it by that). The humidity in the air causes the pen pressure to stick apparently. I had the same problem and this made it work. i hope this helps.

In photoshop, press F5 to bring up your brush control window. Under shape dynamics and other dynamics and any other brush attributes you wish to control with your pen, make sure that control is set to "pen pressure" in the drop down menu. Hope that fixes it for ya.

I also use Intuos 3 tablet, did you already try replacing the tip and reconfiguring the pen to the screen? You can find this in the driver software, it synchronizes the pen and tablet.
If you already tried that, does the problem only occur in Photoshop? Also, check your brush preferences, you can go back to your default settings and see. If talking to Wacom fails, you might have a bad pen or tablet.

Graphire4 Tablet not reading pen

If you are on a Windows Vista machine, you need to delete your preference files for your tablet driver. The issue you are experiencing is likely due to a corrupt prefs file, which in my case was what caused the problems specifically in photoshop.
