My camera is hooked up to my tv as instructed but nothing happened. Is there a special channel that you put your tv on in order to get a view

Connect the yellow connector of the camera to the TV Video input 1 or 2
Using the remote select the right video input on your TV by pressing, Video or Source on the remote to select the video input 1 or 2 whichever, input you connected the camera to that input needs to be active using the remote or keypad on the side of your TV set.

Techwood 42in tv model 42832 hd digtal it turned itself of,cant get no picture, but blue stand by switch still turns on and off

It sounds like your TV's display has been routed to a different INPUT than the Cable/TV input jack, like a VCR in put or an RCA input. You need to change the input back to TV from VCR or LINE1 or RCA, so on. How to do this without the original remote, you are going to have to look up the program code for the universal remote and program that remote correctly, once done, change the TV Input until you're back on cable.

No remote need to put on input for game system

One option is to get a new remote. http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=ST420ff&uuid=12852168657330 will order the original remote. Any universal remote with an Input function should work (assuming the remote is newer than the TV by at least 6 months).

I wish I could be of more help.

(Unfortunately this is a tv that doesn't let you change the input from the OSD menu.)

I am trying to change the input on my tv but I do not have a remote. Can I still change it? How?

on some tv's you can go back through the channels and it will get to AV (eg: 2,1,0,av1,av2,99,98...)

Some TV's will have an AV or input selector buton on them

and on most TV's you cant put it to AV input without the remote... you could try a "0ne for all" remote, they generally work and are cheap

Direct TV remote "tv input" button won't work with my Sony TV

I came across this looking for a similar solution for my Samsung TV, and I found the solution on ehow.com. Apparently after you program the remote for your TV you have to hold mute and select again until it flashes twice then put in 960 to make the remote control TV input too. Note you're remote should be in TV mode while you do this. It seems silly that the DirectTV guy wouldn't do this when programming the remote.

I set the INPUT to INPUT 2 but when I change channels it will not stay there. How do I lock it into place? Also, how do I set the clock on the TV? I used the menu, went to D.S.T and SET CLOCK, but at that...

your not saposed to use your tv remote to change chanels if you put it on input 2, im assuming you have a cable box, that is plugged into input 2, and if you are using the cable remote, after you put the tv on input 2, make sure you push the little cable buttom at the top of the remote befor you change the chanel

Troubleshooting vcr

Usually one connects a RF [cable tv, Dish tv, antenna ] cable to the INPUT of VCR & a RF cable output to tv (antenna )INPUT .The reason is that if you are watching TV reception (Cable, Dish, etc) and you want to watch VCR tape, just push the tape in and it should start playing picture.
From what I understand that you are trying to say:: [ YOUR NEW TV ! ] you MUST connect to the RCA jacks, CABLE S with RCA plugs that come out of the VCR to the new TV [ INPUT & OUTPUT] jacks .When you ["" use input botton on VCR remote"" ] you are using a DIFFERENT input signal. You are not letting the TV know that you are changing the signal from RF(antenna, Cable, Dish, etc)to the RCA signal ["" I use my input botton on my vcr remote""]

How Do I Get a DVD to Work with This TV?

Make sure to switch the TV's tuner mode to Video or Aux mode.
You can change the mode using the original TV remote or directly from the TV's control panel.

Again, tuner mode picks up all live broadcast airwaves and Video or Auxillary mode displays what is inputed into the TV via second device..

Good Luck!
