Transferring a voice recording

I've can't move, copy or even play a couple of my voice recordings that I've recorded with my Sansa onto my computer. When I tried to move it it says that the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable yet I can still listen to it on my Sansa also all my future recordings seem to be copied over just fine. The difference is I pressed the record button on the side when I recorded these particular files whilst I accessed the main menu for the rest of other voice recordings. Is there no way I can save these files at all? :(

^^ Nevermind I found the solution myself! I switched the USB mode setting to MTP. It's been copied and moved over now. Sorry!

Sorry I solved this one myself but I'll put the solution for anyone that has a similar problem. Check your USB mode and switch it to MTP in order to transfer the file.

How can I transfer information from recorder to say a Mac mini desk top computer

There is no direct way of transferring a recording. What you can do is play back a recording to an audio recorder program on your computer. Transfer digital recording to computer to make CD

As there is no USB port on this IC Recorder, you can connect the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recorder Software to capture the files. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software preinstalled in the Computer. After transferring the recordings to the Computer, you can use any CD Burning Software to burn the files to a CD.

WMA is a windows standard. You can get the free components for Quicktime from Microsoft's web site. This should solve your problem.

Dowloading audio files onto my computer..

I have an Olympus recorder. I don't know if the software is similar but their software has a way of copying the files to folders in the software. These files can then be used in other audio programs such as ITunes if you want to transfer it to your Ipod or audio recording software so that you can drag and drop them into one file.

If you look in the folder where your voice manage software is, is there a folder where the audio files are being stored within the program?
