Hayward H250FDN heater doesn't stay on

You might need to have your gas lines cleaned. If there is a blockage of the gas line, you might not be getting enough fuel to start the heater. If that doesn't solve the problem, try consulting the owners manual for these pool heaters. The troubleshooting guide might help you narrow down the problem.

Headers on hayward heaters are usually warranted for 10 years, except for freeze or chemical damage. You may want to contact a local warranty station to see if you can get it replaced under warranty.

My heater starts and then after about 3 seconds shuts off

Either , you really don't have good pressure (below 18 PSI on filter) or your water pressure swith is defect.
Try placing your filter on "recir" and fire the heater , if it fires and stays on .....it's definitely your pressure -back wash.

I have a hayward modelh100idi above ground pool heater we can't get it to stay running it fires up but go the flame goes right back out (propane heater)

you need a flame sensor,its located where you see the flame touches,lightly sand with fine sand paper,if it still doesn work you have you replace it.if this helps please give me a fix ya vote
