The broiler works, the burners light, but the oven igniter does not ignite. We will be purchasing the replacement igniter tomorrow and the oven is in pieces. Any ideas how we can access the screws that attach the igniter to the burner? They are located under the igniter, at an angle that renders every wrench in the toolbox unusable. We have attempted to remove the burner, without results, but will continue to pursue this approach if absolutely necessary. On the broiler, the same igniter is attached so that the mounting screws are easily accessible. Any ideas?
PULL OUT THE DRAWER AND THAT WILL ALLOW YOU ACCESS TO THE 1/4" SCREWS IN THE LOWER REAR THAT HOLDS THE BURNER IN PLACE ALONG WITH THE FRONT SINGLE 1/4" SCREW. NEED A FLASHLIGHT FOR THIS. THIS FREES UP THE BURNER SO YOU CAN ACCESS THE IGNITER MOUNT SCREWS.
