We use four part carbon paper and the print will not show up on the last copy. We have two of these printers and it is only happening on one of them.
My guess is it?s probably the print head. These things are designed to print on single sheets so even though it?s probably well within specs it still doesn?t have enough force to push an image to the last page. Less likely but never the less a possibility this could also be caused by inconsistent paper in the two boxes. Continuous feed, multi-part forms in a box are made by several manufacturers and have different characteristics. -You might try flipping the box of forms from the printer that works to the one that doesn?t just to make sure it?s not the forms. When I used to use multipart forms we would place orders for several boxes of the same form and occasionally some would be from a different manufacturer. The paper looked the same but the characteristics were way different. By the way we tried to do four-part but could never print beyond three part forms. Our fix was that we decided we only needed one in-house copy. -If the problem doesn?t follow the paper then I would suspect the print head. Panasonic print heads are fairly easy to replace and fairly inexpensive so I would try changing it out. With a lot of use the print heads do wear out so even if this doesn?t solve this problem you?ll have a spare when your vertical characters start looking wavy?.
