I have a Laars LX400N Gas water pool and spa heater when i turn the system on I get the blower working however a get a AGS light and Serive light flashing red and the heater wont fire and heat water (

The Heater starts the blower comes on however no flames occur and two red lights on the display flash red on and off they state AGS and Service and the heater wont fire up and heat the water . I cleaner all the cob webs out and blew compressed air in all the gas tubes so thier is no obstuctions the dats sheet states Automatic gas shut down Refer to Qualified service personal !

SOURCE: When Spa heater is turned on,Fan comes on but burner never lights

this is typical of a dirty flame sensor.your model does not have a thermo couple.remove sesor and clean with steel wool or fine emory cloth

Anytime the heater is reading the water temp to be above what it actually is, especially 126, the problem is the Thermistor, or Temp Sensor, for the heater. This is a very easy part to replace. The Thermistor is located on the manifold, on the left side, between the top two bolts.

If the unit is lighting then shutting off then repeating it isn't rectifying, means not sensing the flame. May have a bad flame sensor or ignition control. I'm guessing your AGS is indicated on the GUI also.
