dear me
you expect a tv from a garage sale to work.
if you didn't test it before paying money to see if it worked , it will probably cost more to fix than a new one
but still take it to a repair shop for a diagnosis and quote
only from the manufacturer parts
as it is a small appliance, the lid if available will be equal to the cost of a new cooker
if you go to hock shops, dumps shops , weekend house garage sales , trash and treasure sales , you may get lucky
the problem with junk sales is that you buy junk
if the button is missing then doing anything may get you electrocuted
have it checked by an accredited repair shop but basically I would junk it as it will cost more to repair ( probably why it was sold in the junk sale in the first place)
take the air compressor battery jump start device to any auto parts stores that sales the same device they will give you idea and show you how it works.
You may find a screen at a TV repair shop. I would suggest you ask for a salvaged one. If you could purchase a new one, the cost is quite high. The other thing to remember is that the rear projection TV is vanishing quickly. I would check garage sales, pawn shops or even check ads in the paper. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!
If threaded correctly and it will not serge, you have probably just found out why it was in the garage sale. Take it to a qualified repair shop, mmost give free estimates, probably much more than you paid for it.
