Your flex cable for the upper part of your phone may be faulty. You could try ordering a new one from http://www.cnn.cn and do a relatively simple repair job.

I lost and indicator light and now my battery is is not lasting at all could it be because of the light

Check battery usage
Go to Settings > Battery.
To see how long each app has been open and running in the background, tap. Under each app, you might see these usage types:
  • Background Activity means that your battery is used while apps run in the background.
  • Audio means that apps play audio while running in the background.
  • No Cell Coverage and Low Signal means that your device is searching for a signal or being used with a low signal.
  • Backup & Restore indicates that your device has been backing up to iCloud or restoring from an iCloud backup.
  • Location and Background Location means that your battery was used when tracking your device.

Adjust settings to improve battery life
While viewing your battery usage, you might get a suggestion like Enable Auto-Brightness or Adjust Display Brightness. This is because iOS determined that changing these settings could improve your battery life. You can also see the usage times since the last full charge.
Learn more about maximizing the battery performance and lifespan of your iOS device.
The battery sine I updated to iOS 11.5.2 is a joke! I've restored my phone 4 times, done a full clean install taking the phone back to factory settings (however this still keeps the updated iOS). I have no apps on the phone yet my battery just ticks away. I'm getting less than 2 hours on a full charge IN POWER SAVE MODE!!!.
The standard advice from apple to save battery power is ok for everyday use, but this is an iOS issue that apple should be dealing with yet are ignoring it. This isn't a divice issue, it's an iOS issue!!! Maybe Apple are getting their own back for being caught out messing with the software to make people buy a new product, or is that me being cynical?
I just want to say that many of us who have purchased an iPhone, regardless of model types, have spent quite a lot of money. Shouldn't we be using and turning on functions that we want to use (location/background app refresh/etc) and still be able to experience the battery usage/consumption span that is realistically acceptable?
I think all the tips about maximising batteries and turning off this or that does NOT solve the problem of the unfortunate "premature battery drainage" which comes with the iOS update. This is unfair to all users and I suggest that somebody in Apple should address this problem as they would for the latest battery replacement scheme.
My iPhone 8 plus battery life was so good at iOS 11.2.2 until I have updated the software. I have updated the software as I have been experiencing call drops and cancellations. This is infuriating. I don't see the need for me to turn off this or that because I might as well buy a simple Nokia phone and forget about all the wonders of what Apple has to offer. Are we paying money for empty promises? Listen Apple, I am feeling it already.

How to extend battery time for i phone?

Ensure any unneeded apps are stopped and not running in the background. Some apps such as facebook / twitter / etc may need to be completely uninstalled or logged out to keep them from running.
Turn down the screen brightness, Generally turning the screens brightness down till it can still be easily seen but not overly bright can increase cell phone battery by up to 20%
Shut off wifi / bluetooth / gps when not required. Disable Wifi / bluetooth, and GPS will also increase your phones battery time.

Ensure a full charge, most devices (iphones included) usually require a minimum of 8 solid hours to charge, even when they say full, they are not actually "FULL". Make sure your device gets at least 8 hours of charge time before use, and don't allow the battery to drain all the way before the next charge.

Cannot connect to my verizon env2 phone

Try this:

1) Charge the headset (plug it in until the LED light turns off. Didn't take very long for me) and unplug it...

2) Make sure the unit is ON (It blinks quickly when powering on and off, and blinks consistently while on, so it shouldn't be hard to tell) [the power switch is very slim and on the outer edge of the unit, labeled by a circle with a line in the middle]

3) Hold down the big silver button on the large outer flat surface of the unit until the LED light *STAYS ON* ***While that LED light remains solid, the unit is in Bluetooth "Discoverable" mode*** After you have put the hands free unit into this mode, then *promptly* follow your own cell phone's blue tooth pairing instructions, usually found in the "tools" or "settings" menu.

Charging plantronics 520/521

The red light will stay ON while charging and will go OFF when charged. Charging does not take long. Since you have no manual, you turn the headset on by pressing down or toward your head and holding the button down. If it's in your ear already, you'll hear a four-note upward pitch sequence to indicate it's powered on. If it's out of your ear, you'll see a red light, followed by a blue flashing light.

Set your phone into Bluetooth mode and make sure in the menus that Bluetooth is "discoverable" or some such lingo to search for the headset. The pairing code for this headset is 0000 (zeros not O's), so when you set your phone up to pair with the headset and the phone wants a pairing code, enter 0000. After the pairing is completed and Bluetooth is activated on your phone, you should hear a high pitched single tone to indicate the headset is in range and communicating with your phone. If you separate from your phone over about 30 feet or if communication is interrupted with your phone for some reason, there will be a lower pitch single tone, indicating loss of communication. After pairing, you should not have to go through the code sequences or setup again unless your phone is completely reset. You should be able to set your phone to Bluetooth, turn your headset on and hear the four-note sequence, followed by a single high note.

Push the switch up or away from your mouth to step the volume up. Likewise, push the switch down or toward your mouth to lower the volume. I've never turned it down, it's always a little low in volume to me even at max.

Push down or toward your head BRIEFLY to answer or hang up the call. Depending on your phone, you can also activate dialing or voice command by using this same brief push. There is a brief delay between pushing the button and being able to talk on most phones, so you might listen for a volume or noise change before talking.

To turn the headset off, push down or toward your head and hold the button down. You will hear a four-note downward pitch sequence to indicate power-down. If you're looking at the headset, you will see a steady red LED, then it will go off. By the way, a flashing red LED indicates need to recharge. A flashing blue LED indicates the unit is operating correctly.

Remember, battery consumption on your phone is greater with Bluetooth turned on, whether you use the headset or not. Bluetooth units constantly stay in touch with their partners, much like your phone stays in touch with the cell towers. So watch your phone's battery indicator a little more closely until you get used to your talk patterns and general use. Depending on your situation, your phone may not use much more battery than before.

Standby (inactive but ON) time on the headset is very good, and battery shelf life (power OFF) has been good also. These headsets are extremely useful in a car or if you are busy with your hands during calls. Just remember to use your head (pardon the pun) and not take or make calls while doing something dangerous. You wouldn't do that with your corded home phone, would you? The vote is still out, but they do tend to look a little nerdy when worn constantly in public. I hope you get as much benefit from your Bluetooth headset as I have from mine. I thought they were completely Nerdsville before, but I'm a convert now. Good luck.

Blue tooth LED indicator

try going to back to your bluetooth settings and making sure you phones visibility or "find me" mode is turned off. This is a good idea anyway cause anyone can find your phone. Then consider most people don't change their passwords so hacking into your phone and reading your texts and looking at your pictures and even trade things back and forth from their phone to yours!!!
