Reverse has gone out on your transmission. Time to find a good used transmission or have yours rebuilt.

Your should have it in drive, drive will always be in 1st gear when starting from a stop, if it roll to much you could have the idle check to make sure it's with in specs.Hope this was very helpful.

2009 Toyota Corolla Matrix. I need a vacuum lines diagram for it please.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

Unlikely to be vacuum lines as they throw codes and cause the Engine Malfunction Light to be lit.

You need a local auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose the ECM, Powertrain Control Module, plus all the modules, sensors and the computer communication network between them all. It can even record what happens when you get to a hill and play it back!

2008 Toyota Corolla. Can an LE or CE edition gearbox work for an XLE edition of the Same car?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Computers and Internet.

Yes, the after letters signify body trim levels only. The CE is the base level. The engine and gearbox are shared at all levels.

What is the difference between Toyota Corolla LE and XLE?"
What is the difference? The Corolla XLE is basically a more luxurious version of the lower LE trim. It adorns Toyota's SofTex upholstery, which is a simulated-leather fabric. A power-adjustable driver's seat and heated front seats also come standard in the Corolla XLE

Hello. my 2009 CRV had been seeming to make some odd noises when changing gears from park, reverse, and drive. The dealership said nothing was wrong. I had been keeping a close eye on it for a few...

changing gear wont hurt your car unless its thumping into gear, you should all ways put your foot brake on anyhow when changing into reverse or drive to stop this thumping but going into drive then reverse realy wont hurt it in any way
