Hello, recently i purchased a used pair of night vision goggles. the first day they worked great, i was thrilled. i followed procedures on how to turn them on. (procedures were on the web). the second day however i noticed that the IR light inside the left eye goggle was flickering. it would grow dim and then turn out. the night vision stopped coming on after that. i checked and rechecked the batteries(new).any time that i tried powering up i made sure i was in a dark room with the unit attached to my head mount.I can still see the IR light now and then, but not always. I then tried resetting using the side reset button but to no avail. Can you please tell me if i am doing something wrong? am i missing some step or steps?. rather than do anything else, i would appreciate some professional help. Thank you, Patrick

Hello, that is normally to have some black spots. Now, if tries to tell that this Military spec. He wrong. Two black spot on any image tubes used by the US Military is rejected, they only allow one black spot and that if everything else is OK. How fuzzy is around the outer circle of the image tube. If there is a uniformed green pattern through out the scope. I would say it was OK. But remember "Buy be Aware". GB...stewbison
