Printing paused & access denied

I have documents in the queue. Printing is paused. When I attempt to un-pause it says "access denied." Changed permissions. Still says access denied.

SOURCE: Printer keeps pausing itself!!

dev_24ind: The parallel port cannot be used for printing by default. Heaps of people have made this mistake. You need a N Boot Rom installed and N system software. Almost certainly you don't.
Get a Network Multi PDL Printer Kit C1 for IR3300 (contains N Boot Rom and NIC aka ethernet port). A technician can install this and update system software and you will be able to print. You will be able to print over a network (which is the preffered option) use Remote User Interface and Pull Scan using Canon Network ScanGear (google it).

How to resume Kyocera KM4050 kx if it shows paused from printing source e.g computer?

If the status from the printing source writes "paused" despite the green tick, there are a few possible reasons why this may be happening:
  1. Printer software: The printer software may be set to pause the print job. Check the printer software settings to see if there are any options to pause the print job.
  2. Print queue: The print job may be paused in the print queue. Check the print queue on your computer or device to see if the print job is paused. If it is, try resuming the print job.
  3. Paper jam: A paper jam can cause the printer to pause the print job. Check the printer for any paper jams and clear them if necessary.
  4. Low ink or toner: If the printer is low on ink or toner, it may pause the print job. Check the ink or toner levels and replace them if necessary.
  5. Connectivity issues: Connectivity issues between the printer and the computer or device can also cause the print job to pause. Check the connection between the printer and the computer or device and make sure it is properly established.
If you're unsure about any of these steps or are not comfortable troubleshooting the printer on your own, it's always best to contact the printer manufacturer or a professional technician for assistance. They can help diagnose and fix the problem safely and effectively.

How do I take Canon imageCLASS D320 All-In-One Laser Printer off from "paused" status?

On the printer properties on the computer there will be a paused option (Normally marked as "Pause Printing") in the printer drop down menu on the Printer Queue screen. Click this to remove the tick next to it and it should start printing again.

My printer is saying paused and will not print

Hi
If you open Devices and Printers, right click on the menu that comes up and click on "See what's printing", a dialogue box should come up with a list of documents to be printed. In the second column is the status of each document. The first one in the queue will probably say "paused". Highlight this, click on the document menu and remove the tick against "pause" and the printing should restart.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

My printer status says it is on pause and it won't print. How do I get it off of pause?

I'm assuming that you're using a Mac. Try to uninstall the Lexmark driver first then download an updated driver online: http://bit.ly/McHL54

If it doesn't work, try to reset the printing system:

  1. Open System Preferences and click "Print & Fax". Then click or right-click on the blank space around the list of printers on the left-hand side.

You should see a pop-up menu and the option to "Reset printing system...". Once you select the option, the OS will restore the CUPS printing system back to its original default settings. NOTE: This will, of course, erase all of your print queues.

Then add a print queue manually: http://bit.ly/SxD5Za

Printer keeps pausing itself!!

By UI do you mean RUI (Remote User Interface)? Have you installed a network kit? If so did you upgrade firmware using SST? If not, you need to do this or printing won't work.

In service mode. Copier > Display > Version > PS/PCL there needs to be a number e.g. 30.06. If there is no number the copier does not have any print drivers on it and won't be able to print. You also need to have a N BOOT-ROM (included in network kit). There Should be a N next to the number for BOOT-ROM under Copier > Display > Version if a N BOOT-ROM is installed.
