The APC Smart UPS 3000VA had dead batteries, and I replaced them with
new ones. After replacing the batteries, I tested the unit with a 100W load
(light bulb), and it switches to battery mode properly with cut AC. Once the
load is increased to 300W (halogen bulb again) it reports low battery, even
when the AC power is present. The unit properly switches to battery power on
AC loss, but low battery is still on. Once the load is decreased, the low
battery goes off instantly and it works normally. I checked the battery
voltage and I found 26V (2X13V) with 300W load (or no load) and AC power,
and 23.5V (2X11.75V) when operated on battery with cut AC and 300W load,
which seems OK. This problem is equal to one previous one but another model wanted to know as it is the solution

New batteries, replaced fan. Unit works on batteries but when plugged into AC both online and on battery lights blink and now does not function at all.( No power output ). Unplug from wall, unit will work off batteries. Plug back in both lights blink and I hear a clicking sound from the unit and no power output.New batteries, replaced fan. Did you run this test without AC input? Also what happens when you cut off the AC mains without any load connected to it? Will the UPS continue to run or does it switch off as well?
Unplug your UPS from the wall. Disconnect the batteries. Push the on button. LED's may flash. This is how to reset the logic. Connect the batteries and plug back in. Everything should be reset.
Basically for SURT models it should have an internal fault if you get that kind of symptoms. One (1) diode is already opened which is always a problem of this APC SURT series. you need to open the unit and do further troubleshooting or send it to APC service center in you area or APC service partner. if it still under warranty you can call APC call center and get a replacement unit. you just need the exact model and Serial number of the unit.
ok how long you brought the ups and how long you had not start the the ups usaully ups is power dead change the battery and try to power up it should work be sure that all connection is connect properly before power up the ups.. if the ups doest work that will be the mainboard problem you hav to call for vedor to repair the unit.. yes these fuse for the ups but it unlikely to be blown so should worry of the fuse it self.. change of battery come with different spefc for the ups.. eg su3000rmi3u, sua3000rmi3u, su3000rmxl3u --- battery replacement is 8 pcs of 12v 7ah. sua3000rmi2u-- 6 pcs of 12v 7ah or 8 pcs 12v 5ah. su3000rminet-- 4 pcs 12v 17ah,
