Question about RedOctane Guitar Hero 3 - Legends of Rock

My guitar and wireless receiver just keep blinking.

My wireless guitar and receiver for guitar hero 3( PS3) just keep blinking and didnt sync up. the guitar has new batteries and worked fine a before. i thought it was broken so i went to the store and decided to buy the new guitar hero world tour for the PS3. the same problem occurred, the receiver and wireless guitar just keep blinking and wont sync up.

i turned off my wireless router just in case that was having any effect on the connection between the guitar and receiver. but that did nothing.

so if there is anyone that could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

i have the same problem. my guitar and receiver are both blinking red, i tried replacing batteries but still not working. no idea wat to do.

The wireless guitar wont sync to the ps3.... i tried new batteries and that didnt work. i pushed the sync button and the light will blink on and it will work for all of about 2 seconds then it just...

Well, connect the guitar to ps3 via usb.. Then press the sync button.. hope that helps :)

How do you sync a guitar hero guitar to a ps3?

so try this and i hope it works!!
try:
1.turning off guitar,plug in adaptor to system,turn on guitar
2. change out the batteries (and check if batteries are secure.)

How do i hook up guitar hero aerosmith to ps3

Same way would would with the other PS3 verisons. But the guitar it self has to be Wireless or have the adapter to play it off the unit USB. The adapter is made to be for previous verisons of the Playstation who didnt have the wireless controllers. If you are wanting to play the PS2 verison of this game on your PS3, you will need to get the adapter, or the PS3 wireless guitar.

Bought a new PS2 and now my Guitar Hero Guitar won't sync

the same problem happened to me, and i just pressed the sync buttons on the guitar and the wireless adaptor at the same time and let it sit. it started syncing fine after that. I hope i helped! :)

Guitar not connecting

Try turning off your guitar and pushing and holding the button on the receiver in for 5 to 10 secs. Turn on guitar and they should be sync'd. If that doesn't work, turn off PS2 disconnect from power supply for a minute or so, plug everything back in and sync the receiver and the guitar again.
