There were some cd's that were downloaded onto my mp3 player and played fine when they were first put on there. But now everytime i try to play them i hear nothing...it doesn't even begin playing. The right and left sides of the screen that lets you know the song is playing both say 00:00. Sometimes when i try to go back to my music list...it won't let me...i have to repeat it several times in order for it to go back. Please help.

First you need music to put on the CD. You can put your own music CD in the drive and run Windows Media Player and rip them to your hard drive (copies them). After you get all the songs you want onto your hard drive, you can make an audio CD if you ripped the songs as WAV files (this CD can be played in most CD players) or you can make an MP3 CD if you ripped the songs as mp3 files (this CD can only be played in CD players that support the MP3 standard). To make the audio CD or MP3 CD, just download the free program called BurnAware from the internet and run it. Insert a blank recordable CD in your computer, choose Audio CD or MP3 CD, then choose the songs you want and burn the CD. That's it.
Hi there,
In Windows Media PLayer there are a variety of formats that can be played.
On you MP3 it's
Format compatibility: MP3/WMA/WAV.
You can check the formats by right clicking on the file and then click on properties.
You can also convert sounds using "Switch" software. Can find it on Download.com
got it?
IT MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT PUT SONGS FROM A CD ONTO YOUR MP3 PLAYER,& THAT YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THEM FROM SOMEWHERE SUCH AS WWW.LIMEWIRE.COM OR WWW.MP3ROCKET.COM. THERE YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE FREE SOFTWARE SO YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AS MANY SONGS AS YOU WANT.BUT PERSONALLY I PREFER WWW.MP3ROCKET.COM
