The real problem is getting it off the clip without breaking it. I think that is the real question.

If it looks like the one in your picture, the stand is just a "tripod" that the camera sits in. There is a slot cut out in the stand, push the nipple of the camera into it. It should then slide back and forth to adjust the camera angle. If it has "legs" post a picture... I am sure we can figure it out!

I'm not familiar with this cam, but does it actually attach or just move freely in the cradle?

What is the advanced settings on my cam supposed to be?

The Logitech QuickCam is a webcam for Windows-based notebooks and laptop computers. The device also works on desktop computers, but contains the mounting hardware for portable computers. The webcam includes a USB connection, utility application and the device driver so your notebook's operating system can recognize the device. Like other webcams, you need to focus your Logitech QuickCam so individuals viewing you on the Internet or through other means can see you clearly. Open the Logitech QuickCam utility program by clicking on the program's icon on your computer's desktop or by clicking "Start," "All Programs," "Logitech," " Logitech QuickCam." Click on the chat client or website you are using the Logitech QuickCam on if you are not using the Logitech QuickCam utility. Turn the webcam's focusing ring on the front of the camera to the left or right slowly to focus the camera. You will see your image in the Logitech QuickCam preview window on your notebook's screen. Rotate the webcam's head, if needed, to center your image in the preview window. Hope this helps.

Launch the Logitech toolbar from your desktop or from All Programs
The settings menu is the 2 gear wheel logo on the toolbar.
Start your cam first in the Quick Capture menu (2 film frames)
Make sure your USB is 2.0 (enhanced)
You may have to reinstall the latest software from here

Logitech Z-5500 Speaker stand problem

The stand was held on with a nut on the inside. There is not longer a nut on the inside of the hole, so there is now nothing for the stand screw to attach to. The nut is now stuck to the magnet on the speaker. You will need to disassemble the speaker housing to remove the nut from the speaker magnet and reattach then stand. peace. Paul.
