Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I had previously posted this problem and was asked if this part was plastic or flexible - it is flexible metal. My printer started to make a grating&banging noise when trying to print and was pulling the paper in at a strange angle and therefore causing it to print poorly. I have pulled out a component that was lodged in the paper feed area and it still doesnt work but I imagine that is because this is a part of the printer itself. The piece I pulled out was approximately 13cm in length and was only a milimeter thick and has small threads attached to it. (it looks like a small comb). Does anyone know what this part is or had any similar problems

It sounds like it may be a part of your paper feeder. Hope it is under warranty. The fact that the printer only started to grind and bang when it appeared to feed the paper at an odd angle points to this to but... Is the part the same colour as the inner printer workings you can see down where the paper loads. Do you have a 2 year old in the house as they like to feed things down holes!!! It may have been a foreign part from another toy!!! Believe me this happened to a friend of mine. They had to replace the paper feeder.

Hoe do i fix the venting hose

The dryer vent can be fixed with several types of product. The best choice is the solid aluminum pipe that usually comes in 2ft sections but will need cut to proper size and joined with metal elbows. Not hard if you are handy. Next choice is the flexible metal pipe that attaches with big clamps. Last choice is the Flexible type that looks like aluminum foil which also attaches with clamps. DO NOT USE THE WHITE PLASTIC FLEXIBLE VENT PIPE. IT IS A FIRE HAZZARD.

How does one remove the right side panel from a Gateway DX4840-11e Desktop?

May not be exact, just posting info I know;

If memory serves you remove the Front Panel. This allows access to tab,s that are depressed, and allows the removal of the Right/Upper metal part of the case, (After removing rear Philips screws, 'natch)

I also seem to remember that there are plastic 'Tabs' on the top plastic cover, that protrude down into the top metal frame of the computer case. Once the wires are disconnected, the tabs are depressed, and this allows the plastic top to slide off.

Direction? Memory fading. Can't remember if you slide to the Front, or Rear. Looking at those plastic tabs should reveal this.

Also cannot remember if the plastic Top needs to be removed first, THEN the 'fairing'.

Awaiting your reply. Post back in a Comment.
Perhaps together, as you work on disassembling the case, we can solve this problem.
Remove the Front Panel, then tell me what you see.

Ween two 15mm bidet pipes which are about 3 inches apart and slightly at an angle

I don't know all of your situation, but I have found 1/2" flexible connection lines braided or neoprene very adequate. Another suggestion is to use 3/8" plastic tubing with appropriate fittings. Hope this is helpful.

Which material is used for sunglasses frames?

Sunglasses frames are made from metal or plastic. Metal frames, particularly expensive ones, are often made of mixtures of nickel and other metals such as silver. These frames have precisely engineered features, such as sculpted and gimbaled nose-pads, durable hinges with self-locking screws, and flexible temples.
